Ambassador Dr. Lord Ajmer HRH is the Founder and Executive Director of We Are One Empowerment Initiative (WAOEI™), a 508(c)(1)(A) tax-exempt ministry headquartered in Georgia, USA, with operations rooted in Greater Banjul Area, The Gambia.
A recognized humanitarian leader, documentary filmmaker, and community organizer, Dr. Ajmer established WAOEI in 2023 to address systemic gaps in vocational training, mental health access, and economic opportunity across The Gambia and the broader African diaspora. Under his leadership, WAOEI launched the Sewing & Design Academy — a 3-month vocational program training women and youth in professional garment construction — and the Children of Africa Documentary, a feature-length film project documenting the continent's resilience and untapped potential.
Dr. Ajmer has cultivated institutional partnerships with Netflix's production charitable programs and the Sheeac community health organization, and actively engages foundations, CSR programs, and documentary networks in growing WAOEI's impact.
